Lee Hovde

I was born and raised in Yakima Valley and lived there until I married my wife, Nancy, in 1968. We moved to Ellensburg to finish our college degrees in education. Two years later we were teaching and living in Tenino. In 1977 we bought property in Adna and built a home for us and our 2 boys, Jason and Nathan. We have lived there ever since.

Not only have I been a teacher, but I have also owned my own tropical fish shop, hauled hay from eastern Washington, and later in life, became a Christmas tree grower. I raised a few cattle on the side.

My wife and I began attending Grace Church in the late 70’s when it was still known as First Baptist Church.
